I'm a Ph.D. student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I'm fortunate to work at Ubiquitous X Lab and be advised by Prof. Qijia Shao.
My research interests lie in Human-Computer Interaction, with a particular focus on Social Computing, Security & Privacy, Video Games, and Education. Specifically, I am passionate about (1) using mixed methods to understand sociotechnical challenges from a multi-stakeholder perspective and (2) developing practical, user-centered solutions.

I obtained my Master's degree in Data Science from the University of California San Diego🌴, where I was fortunate to work under the guidance of Prof. Haojian Jin and was honored as the Distinguished Mentee & Student of the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute. I am also grateful to have worked alongside Prof. Yaxing Yao and Prof. Tauhidur Rahman.

Before graduate schools, I also spent beautiful years at Nanjing University🐳, where I studied Applied Physics. In my freshman year, I spent an unforgettable summer volunteering at a rural primary school, taught art & science classes, and conducted fieldwork on children’s mental health. I was also thrilled to lead a publicity team and design a commemorative magazine for the university's crosstalk club.
